When compared to DSLR cameras, the smartphone camera offers many benefits.
Everyone has a smartphone with a camera, internet connectivity, and support for mobile apps.
I think it is more useful for daily work in labs and clinics.
DSLR cameras have an image sensor that defines the image, a lens that determines the angle of view and aperture, and a flashlight that determines the color.
I developed an LED device with a natural light spectrum for the smartphone with color as the primary focus.
In addition, I developed a mobile application that uses a vita shade guide as a color calibration method for cameras rather than a grey or white card.
